Russia remains ready to supply natural gas to Europe, including to the Federal Republic of Germany — the other side simply needs to “press the button.” Russian President Vladimir Putin drew attention to this while speaking with journalists on the evening of September 1, TASS reports: ТАСС.
“Not so long ago — a few months, a year ago — Germany accused Russia of having sabotaged the Nord Streams. I was then surprised that such rubbish could enter anyone’s head, given that we are interested in selling gas to Europe. We would be ready to supply even today. They only need to make the decision to ‘press the button.’ Well, they don’t have the nerve, because of US sanctions — that’s all,” the head of state said.
